About Ad van Hassel

Ad van Hassel (Roosendaal, 1953) is a renowned Dutch artist who began painting in 1980. After years of experience in various creative disciplines, he opened two exclusive galleries in the Sonesta and Krasnapolsky hotels in Amsterdam in 1983. Since 1990, Ad has been an expert in screen printing, not only for his own work, but also for that of other artists such as Herman Brood, Corneille, Jan Cremer, Rob Scholte, Shunyam and Peter Diem.

After the passing of such luminaries as Herman Brood and Corneille, Ad turned his expertise to CNC laser cutting and milling of various materials. These techniques have resulted in the colorful sculptures that today are highly sought after by art lovers worldwide.
