About the artist Ad van Hassel

Ad van Hassel (Roosendaal, 1953) is a versatile Dutch artist who began his career in 1980. After exploring various creative disciplines, he opened two exclusive galleries in Amsterdam in 1983. Since 1990, Ad has specialized in screen printing, both for his own work and that of other well-known artists such as Herman Brood, Corneille, Jan Cremer, Rob Scholte, Shunyam and Peter Diem.

After the passing of such luminaries as Herman Brood and Corneille, Ad turned his expertise to new techniques such as CNC laser cutting and milling. Using these techniques, he creates the colorful sculptures for which he is known today. Ad van Hassel’s artworks are highly sought after and find their way to art lovers around the world.
