Description

Henry Brand has created a striking figurative work of art, made with oil on linen where the sides of the work have been carefully extended, allowing it to be hung directly on the wall. The vibrant colors of this artwork are even better in reality. A certificate of authenticity is included with purchase. This beautiful piece is on display at our gallery in Amersfoort and available for art loan. Online purchase is also available. After placing the order, we will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment. You always have 14 days right of return.

Born in Limburg, Henry Brand is known for his cityscapes and floral still lifes. His enjoyment of painting and pursuit of a satisfactory end result are constant motivators. Henry primarily uses the palette knife when working with oil paint, giving his classic themes a surprisingly modern look. Whether it is mundane city life or the colorful splendor of an autumn bouquet, Henry’s use of vibrant oil paints in deep earth tones such as burnt sienna, ochre and moss green always makes for a captivating show – a colorful spectacle on the wall.

The French influences in some of his works originate in painting sessions he holds in Normandy, Honfleur and Trouville, among other places.
