Description
The Forest Scapes is a new original series created from photographs taken by Karin Vermeer during her travels in and outside the Netherlands. She based this particular piece on a photograph she took in Riserva Statale Badia Prataglia. She made a very thick layer on the image with gel mediums and started painting over it. The painting is one of a kind, has a lot of texture and is highly detailed; the effect is almost 3d. She handcrafted this piece on paper and linen mounted on a high-quality 3D aluminum frame finished with a satin coating.
