Born in Alagoas in 1975, William Malucu is a talented Brazilian artist living and working in Fortaleza, Brazil. His uninhibited passion for color and composition invites one to step into his creative world. The ability to release emotions through his expressions makes Malucu an artist at heart. His inspirations come from the nightlife of Brazil’s sweltering northeast, the ocean views from his studio, and the classical music of Mahler and Bach. While painting, he likes to be accompanied by classical music, where pure passion and the desire to paint come alive. His signature style includes sophisticated color and shape compositions, using original materials such as gold leaf, sand or old newspapers in addition to acrylic paint. Through the many layers, both literal and figurative, he always manages to surprise the viewer.

William Malucu has gained worldwide recognition, with galleries representing his works in the Netherlands, England, Germany, Belgium, France and Scandinavia.
