Story Behind The Business Trip
Miss Belkys tapped on her machine with one finger, understood nothing about computers, spoke no foreign languages and also hated accounting and business meetings. Despite these “minor” inconveniences, on the day of her interview with the president, Mr. Raúl López Monti, she stood out among the 25 best-educated candidates in the city and was awarded the coveted position of personal secretary without too much difficulty. Back at the office, the new secretary asked for a raise, which was granted immediately.
