Born in Alagoas in 1975, William Malucu is a talented Brazilian artist currently living and painting in Fortaleza, Brazil. His paintings, infused with uninhibited passion for color and composition, invite one to step inside his creative world. William uses his art as a powerful expression of emotion, and this makes him an artist at heart. His sources of inspiration range from the vibrant nightlife of northeastern Brazil to the ocean view from his studio, as well as the classical music of Mahler and Bach. When painting, William likes to be guided by the sounds of classical music, resulting in pure enthusiasm and a passionate dedication to his art.

William Malucu employs sophisticated color and form compositions and communicates directly with his audience. His signature style includes the use of acrylic paint, along with original materials such as gold leaf, sand or old newspapers.
