About the artist
Ad van Hassel (Roosendaal, 1953) began his artistic career in 1980 and has since built up an impressive body of work. After opening two exclusive galleries in Amsterdam in 1983, Ad specialized in screen printing. He worked closely with well-known artists such as Herman Brood, Corneille, Jan Cremer, Rob Scholte, Shunyam and Peter Diem.
After the death of such luminaries as Herman Brood and Corneille, Ad turned to new techniques such as CNC laser cutting and milling. These techniques enable him to create colorful and unique sculptures. His artworks are highly sought after and find their way to art lovers all over the world.
