About the artist: Ad van Hassel
Ad van Hassel (Roosendaal, 1953) is a renowned Dutch artist who began painting in 1980. After going through various creative disciplines, he opened two exclusive galleries at the Sonesta and Krasnapolsky hotels in Amsterdam in 1983. Since 1990, Ad has specialized in screen printing, not only for his own work but also for that of other artists. Among other things, he was Herman Brood’s regular printer for 12 years.
After the passing of such luminaries as Herman Brood and Corneille, Ad shifted his focus to CNC laser cutting and milling of various materials. These techniques led to the creation of his colorful sculptures, which are loved by art collectors worldwide.
