About the artist William Malucu
William Malucu (Alagoas, 1975) is a Brazilian artist who expresses his passion for color and composition in his paintings. He lives and works in Fortaleza, Brazil, where he draws inspiration from nightlife, ocean views and the classical music of Mahler and Bach. While painting, William prefers to be accompanied by classical music, which gives his work an added dimension of passion and emotion. His ability to convey emotions through his artwork makes him a true artist at heart.
Unique style and techniques
William Malucu is known for his sophisticated compositions of color and form, communicating in a direct way. His signature style includes the use of acrylic paint combined with original materials such as gold leaf, sand and old newspapers. By applying many layers, both literal and figurative, he manages to surprise the viewer time and again.
