Inspiration and technology
Mexican artist Frida Kahlo was a great inspiration for Micha Baker. This resulted in an impressive portrait that features a beautiful combination of screen printing techniques and acrylics. The work was fabricated on dibond and then placed on a sturdy 4-inch-thick frame.
Epoxy resin finish
To increase the color brightness and protect the artwork, the whole thing was overlaid with a thick layer of epoxy resin. This not only gives the artwork a beautiful look, but also ensures that it stays beautiful for a long time.
